Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Paradise Beach Hotel, I experienced a beautifully secluded location tucked away on the smaller, peaceful beaches of Koh Ngai. The well-maintained bungalows offered a comfortable retreat, complete with air conditioning and a mini-fridge for convenience. While the accommodation is modern, it’s worth noting that the prices reflect this somewhat luxurious setting, so budget-conscious travelers should be aware. The highlight of my stay had to be the stunning beach access and serene surroundings. I enjoyed exploring nearby wild beaches via the complimentary sit-on-top kayaks. The bird-watching opportunities were a delightful bonus, with hornbills and other tropical species frequenting the area. Dining at the hotel provided tasty meals, though prices are on the higher side compared to mainland options. I recommend venturing out to a local fish shack further down the beach for a more affordable experience, though reservations are essential. Housekeeping was consistent, and staff members were notably attentive, helping with luggage transfers and ensuring a comfortable stay. While the resort does impose some luxury costs, the natural beauty and unique experiences contribute to a worthwhile holiday—it's all about weighing the value against the amenities offered.
